Blair Darney

Blair Darney is a Deputy Editor at Contraception Journal since June 2022, and an Associate Professor in the Complex Family Planning Division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University, where employment began in June 2012. Blair has a significant background in reproductive health services research, focusing on the evaluation of clinical and policy interventions in obstetrics and family planning. Additional roles include serving as a board member at CISIDAT and a member of the Board of Directors at the Society of Family Planning, both since June 2020, as well as holding the title of Garcia-Robles COMEXUS Fulbright Scholar for August 2023 to July 2024. Previous leadership experience includes serving as Area Director at the National Institute of Public Health and Project Director/Research Associate at OHSU School of Nursing. Academic credentials include a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Washington, and a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Yale University.
