Helena Raposo

Helena Raposo currently serves as a Clinical Research Assistant at Oregon Health & Science University since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Researcher and Research Scholar at Stowers Institute for Medical Research from September 2021 to July 2023, and a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine in May 2021. Helena also held various positions at Oregon State University, including Leadership Academy Program Management Intern, Leadership Academy Orientation Chair, COE Ambassador, and Physics Learning Assistant between April 2018 and June 2021. Other work experience includes serving as a caregiver at Affordable Home Care NW from June 2018 to October 2020, a summer intern at Oregon Health & Science University in 2019, a front-line server at Qdoba Restaurant Corporation from January 2018 to January 2019, and a math tutor at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP in 2015. Helena earned a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Oregon State University in June 2021 and completed a GED at Lincoln High School in 2017.
