Joseph Ahn has an extensive work experience in the field of medicine. Joseph currently serves as the Associate Medical Director of OHSU Health Services and as the Section Chief of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where they have been a professor of medicine since 2012. Prior to joining OHSU, they held various positions at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, including Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of Liver Transplantation. Joseph also worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rush University Medical Center and completed their fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Joseph Ahn started their medical career as a resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2000.

Joseph Ahn has a Master of Business Administration – Healthcare MBA degree from Oregon Health & Science University. Joseph also holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University – The Feinberg School of Medicine.
