Matthew Waldrop

Matthew Waldrop is currently a Senior Performance Improvement Consultant at Oregon Health & Science University, where responsibility includes leading operational excellence initiatives to enhance patient access in the ambulatory enterprise. Previous roles at OHSU include Performance Improvement Consultant and Operations Manager for Environmental Services, where significant operational cost reductions were achieved. Matthew also served as an Interim Manager in Food & Nutrition Services and as an Administrative Fellow, where strategic projects were managed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to OHSU, experience at UAB Medicine encompassed roles as a Management Associate and Student Associate focused on patient experience improvement. Additional experience includes research assistance at PolicyWorks LLC and sales consultancy at Sunglass Hut. Matthew holds multiple degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, including a Master of Science in Health Administration and a Master of Science in Health Informatics.
