Mel Tennyson

Mel Tennyson is an experienced academic and administrative professional with a strong background in education and coordination. Currently serving as an Academic Coordinator at Oregon Health & Science University since September 2022, Mel has previously held roles including Administrative Operations Coordinator at Community for Positive Aging and Academic Coordinator for the Department of Naturopathic Medicine at National University of Natural Medicine. Mel's teaching experience spans various institutions, including ESOL and ESL instruction at Portland Community College and Metropolitan Family Service, as well as online composition courses at DeVry University. Mel holds a PhD in American Studies and a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Washington State University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Northwest Nazarene University.
