Monica Jones

Monica Jones is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) currently working at Oregon Health & Science University since September 2023 and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Emerald Anesthesia, PLLC, since July 2021, where safe, cost-effective, and efficient anesthesia services are provided in various clinical settings. Previous experience includes CRNA positions at UNC Health Johnston from October 2021 to August 2023 and CarolinaEast Health System from March 2020 to August 2023, as well as a long tenure at New Hanover Regional Medical Center from July 2013 to July 2021. Additionally, Monica was the Fundraising Chair for the AANA Foundation from 2011 to 2015 and worked as a Registered Nurse in surgical vascular thoracic intensive care at Advocate Christ Medical Center and in the MICU at Duke University Hospital. Monica holds a Master of Nursing in Nurse Anesthesia from Geisinger Health System/Bloomsburg University (2010-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg (2001-2006).
