Zoe Kohler-Boland is a medical student at Oregon Health & Science University, engaged in geriatrics volunteering, research, and mentorship activities. Prior to this role, Zoe served as a research assistant at the Oregon Research Institute, contributing to the MomNET project aimed at supporting mothers experiencing depression through a web-based application. At the University of Oregon, Zoe provided tutoring to student athletes in STEM subjects, Spanish, and Latin American Studies, while also offering career planning and exam strategy support. As a Fulbright Fellow, Zoe researched the impact of heavy metal contamination on fish behavior in the Lake Titicaca watershed and completed an undergraduate honors thesis on neurobiology and behavior in goldfish at Smith College.
