Shawn Freilinger

Shawn Freilinger is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in application development and technical architecture. Currently serving as the Design & Development Leader for the Oregon Legislative Assembly since August 2016, Shawn leads a diverse, fully remote software development team. Prior to this role, Shawn spent nearly 18 years at the Oregon Department of Transportation in various positions, including BI/DW Team Lead and Client/Server Resource Team Lead. Shawn has a solid foundation in programming and engineering, having worked as a Senior Programmer Analyst and Bridge Designer, among other roles. Additionally, Shawn co-owned Freilinger & Boss IT Business Solutions, focusing on delivering IT business solutions. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and Forest Products from Oregon State University and a Certificate in Public Management from Willamette University.
