Amber White

Amber White is currently the EVP and CFO at Oregon Pacific Bank. Amber has over 10 years of experience in the banking industry. Amber started their career as an assistant controller at Pacific Continental Bank. After 7 years at Pacific Continental Bank, they became the controller at Citizens Bank (OR). Amber then transitioned to their current role at Oregon Pacific Bank 4 years ago.

Throughout their career, Amber has utilized their planning and technical skills to lead general ledger integrations and accounting for three acquisitions, increasing corporate assets by $775MM. Amber is also an active participant in acquisition modeling and due diligence. In their current role as EVP and CFO, they oversee all accounting and finance related functions, including SEC and regulatory reporting. Amber also drafts the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) in form 10-K and 10-Q filings, as well as quarterly press releases and webcast scripts.

In addition to their responsibilities related to SEC reporting and acquisitions, Amber is also actively involved with Credit Administration and the Bank’s ALLL methodology. Amber is responsible for stock based compensation accounting, including RSUs, SARs, and stock options. Additionally, they oversee the implementation of accounting related to the deferred compensation plan. Amber prepares the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the corporation, and presents these materials to the Board of Directors and executive management team.

Amber supervises a staff of four, including the Assistant Controller, Staff Accountant, and two Accounts Payable Clerks. Amber is also responsible for fixed assets accounting, prepaid expenses, monthly accruals, month-end close, tax provision calculation, XBRL implementation, and personal property tax returns. In their previous role as controller at Citizens Bank (OR), they served as the primary contact for external auditors during the annual financial statement audit. Amber also served as the primary contact for Safety and Soundness regulatory exams. In this role, they directly supervised the account payable function, including Accounts Payable clerk.

Amber White has a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University and also studied abroad at Universidad de Cantabria in Spain through a Spanish immersion program.
