Dan Peterson

Dan Peterson has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Dan started their career in 2009 as the Manager of Men's Basketball at the University of Oregon. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the Director of Basketball Technology at the University of Portland. In 2012, they transitioned to the sports industry and worked as an Account Executive at International Sports Management, Inc. Dan later became a Senior Account Executive before moving on to join the University of Washington in 2013 as the Bill and Mimi Gates Advancement Intern. Dan then held various development roles at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, starting as an Assistant Director of Development in 2014 and eventually rising to the position of Director of Development until May 2023. In June 2023, they joined the Oregon State University Foundation as the Senior Director of Development for the College of Business.

Dan Peterson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon, where they attended from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two additional certifications. In May 2021, they received a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. In January 2022, they obtained an Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from the USF M3 Center.
