Scott Gilpin M.S. CIS has a diverse work experience. Scott started their career as the Director of Educational Multimedia at Oregon State University in August 1999. In this role, they managed the statewide web presence and developed policies and guidelines for online implementation. After this, they joined Ozark Technical College as the Director of the Computer Training Institute from May 2006 to June 2007. Scott then returned to Oregon State University and worked at the Oregon State University Foundation. Scott held the role of Web Solutions Team Leader from June 2007 till now, where they led web development, increased web presence for fundraising, and developed web applications to support organizational needs. Recently, they assumed the role of Assistant Director, Digital Technology.

Scott Gilpin M.S. CIS has a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Western Oregon University, studying from 1993 to 1996.
