Jayathi Murthy

Jayathi Murthy serves as the President of Oregon State University. Previously, Murthy held the position of Ronald and Valerie Sugar Dean and Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, and served as Dean at the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. Murthy obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota between 1981 and 1984.
