Luke Strohbehn

Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University

Luke Strohbehn is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, focusing on MIME Robotics since September 2022. Prior experience includes engineering roles at Cuberg, where responsibilities spanned from Engineer I to Battery Engineering Intern from January 2021 to June 2023. Luke served as a Physics Tutor at Colorado College’s Quantitative Resource Center from April 2017 to December 2019, appointed by the Physics Department Faculty. A summer research experience at Clemson University in 2019 involved programming and device design under the National Science Foundation's REU initiative. Additional contributions to research included work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Helmut Schmidt Universität - Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg, focusing on robotic exosuits, and serving as Marketing Director for The Catalyst Newspaper from 2017 to 2019. Luke holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Colorado College and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Oregon State University.
