Natia Javakhishvili is a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University since September 2023, focusing on advanced statistical and demographic analyses related to wind energy impacts on avian populations. Previously, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Natia developed and delivered curriculum for ornithology, creating lab materials and assessments. Natia held the role of CEO at the Society for Nature Conservation (SABUKO) from 2015 to 2022, leading strategic initiatives and overseeing conservation projects related to raptor species. Additionally, Natia served as the Head of the Environmental Education Department at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia, managing public outreach and education programs. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Wildlife Science with a Minor in Statistics from Oregon State University, an MS in Conservation Biology, and a Master's in Ecology, among other degrees.
