Chris Whittemore

Chris Whittemore has been involved in music their whole life. Chris started their own music studio, Whittemore Studio of Music, in 2008 and has been teaching clarinet ever since. Chris also frequently gives masterclasses at various high schools. In 2015, they interned with Round Rock Symphony in their marketing and social media department and in 2016 they became the Artistic Operations Manager at Metropolitan Youth Symphony, facilitating music operations and communication between students, families and staff. Chris is currently the Production Manager at Oregon Symphony.

Chris Whittemore has a Master of Music in Performance from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Chris Whittemore reports to Scott Showalter, President & CEO. They are on a team with Ellen Bussing - Senior Director, Campaigns, Charles Calmer - VP, Artistic Planning, and Hilary Blakemore - VP, Development.
