David Twomey

David Twomey has extensive work experience in the field of accounting. David started working at Safari Books Online in 2006, where they held various positions such as Accountant I, Accountant II, Senior Accountant, and Accounting Manager. In 2014, O'Reilly Media acquired Safari Books Online, and David continued to work for the company in the role of Accounting Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing all accounting functions, including commissions, royalties, sales, internal controls, and reporting. David also supervised two Accounting Supervisors. In 2020, David transitioned to the position of Director Of Accounting at O'Reilly Media.

David Twomey obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Western Governors University, from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting and Finance from Bridgewater State University, from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Python for Financial Analysis and Algorithmic Trading from Udemy in July 2018.
