Sahad Ouedraogo

Sahad Ouedraogo, ing., P.Eng. is an experienced engineer specializing in tailings, dam, and water resources management, currently serving as Engineer at Orezone Gold Corporation since May 2022. Sahad also holds the position of Directeur général at SAFAYA, focused on general commerce and international development since April 2020. Previous roles include Project Manager for Tailings & Dam at IAMGOLD Corporation and Project Manager for Mining Geotechnics at WSP Canada, among others. Sahad's early career included responsibilities for geotechnical investigations and environmental remediation at Englobe. Sahad holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Civil Engineering from Université de Moncton and is pursuing a Master's in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering at École de technologie supérieure, along with a Master's in Business Administration from Université Laval.
