Malancha Chakrabarty has a diverse work experience in the field of research and consulting. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Consultant at the Planning Commission until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Research Associate at The Energy and Resources Institute. In 2015, they joined the Observer Research Foundation as an Associate Fellow and later went on to become a Fellow and Deputy Director of Research.
