James Shock

James Shock has extensive experience in the medical device industry. James currently serves as a Board Member at SGA since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Director at Orfit, starting in 2018.

From 2015 to the present, James held the position of Senior Business Consultant at Spaces by SAE, where they managed sales, marketing, operations, and daily commercial activities.

Before that, from 2011 to 2014, they worked as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Cure Foundation, leading various projects related to medical devices and software implementation.

James also has experience as a Sales Director at Accuray, where they played a key role in re-educating the market on the CyberKnife treatment system.

Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Sales and Customer Support Services at Calypso Medical, where they established and managed the commercial phase of the business.

James began their career at Philips as the Regional Sales Manager for Elekta Medical Systems, where they successfully developed the radiation oncology market in the Northeast region.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in sales, marketing, and operations in the medical device industry.

James Shock has pursued a degree in Strategic Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, they hold a B.Sc in Electronic Engineering (Navy) from Solent University.
