Alan Swarts

Alan Swarts is a seasoned entertainment and media professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Mentor at Techstars since August 2024 and CEO of Orfium Japan since May 2023, Alan has a rich history that includes co-founding BREAKER Inc., later acquired by Orfium, where leadership spanned from August 2013 to May 2023. Prior roles include VP of Creative and Content at MTV Networks Japan and VP of Entertainment, Digital Media at Viacom International Japan. With a solid foundation in talent and music management as Director at MTV Networks International, Alan's career commenced as an MTV News Presenter. Educational credentials include a B.A. in English from Columbia University, obtained between 1989 and 1993.
