Brian Shaughnessy

Brian Shaughnessy has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Brian is currently working as a Music Copyright Administrator at Orfium since July 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at UnitedMasters as a Distribution Operations professional from January 2020 to March 2020. Brian gained valuable experience during their internship at Atlantic Records in 2019, where they worked as an Intern and also as an Urban Marketing Intern for a few months. In 2018, Brian worked at The Recording Academy as a Campus Ambassador and at Roc Nation in two different roles. At Roc Nation, they served as an A&R/Promotions intern, where they handled various responsibilities such as artist one sheets, travel coordination, contract negotiations, and connecting artists with producers and songwriters. Brian also interned as a Strategic Operations Intern at Roc Nation, where they assisted with event planning, itinerary creation, marketing plans, and other support for artists. Prior to their music industry roles, Brian worked at St. John's University as a Social Media Coordinator for Alumni Relations and as a Student Worker at SJU Serves.

Brian Shaughnessy attended St. John's University from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
