Dulat Bekbolsynov

Laboratory Director-in-training at Gift of Life Michigan

Dulat Bekbolsynov is a research fellow at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences since April 2019, with extensive experience in laboratory environments. Currently serving as Laboratory Director-in-Training at Gift of Life Michigan since August 2018, Dulat previously held the position of research assistant at the National Center for Biotechnology from August 2010 to July 2012, focusing on the use of synovial membrane derived mesenchymal stem cells for cartilage injury repair. Early research experience includes a position at Kazakh State Medical Academy from October 2004 to March 2006, where Dulat contributed to studies on lipid oxidation in uranium mine workers. Academic credentials include a PhD from The University of Toledo (2012-2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Colorado State University (2008-2010).
