Sonja Moosburger

Sonja Moosburger has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Sonja is currently the Vice President of Operations at Organic Garden, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Advisory Board Member at Shoptalk from 2021 to 2022, where they had the opportunity to discuss and explore the latest trends and developments in retail. From 2020 to 2022, Sonja was a Member of the Supervisory Board at brigk, a digital startup center in Ingolstadt. Sonja also served as the Chair of the Retail Committee at BITKOM e.V., Germany's digital association, from 2018 to 2022.

In 2017, Sonja became the Managing Director at MediaMarktSaturn N3XT, the corporate innovation unit of MediaMarktSaturn. Sonja also played a key role in launching the open innovation platform Retailtech Hub. Prior to this, they held various roles at MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group, including Head of Digital Transformation & Projects and Senior Manager in Digital Strategy & Transformation and Strategic Projects/Online from 2012 to 2017.

Sonja's work experience also includes a position as a Managing Consultant in Strategy & Transformation at IBM from 2007 to 2012, where they worked on projects in various industries and supported non-governmental organizations in Tanzania through the IBM Corporate Service Corps.

Earlier in their career, Sonja worked as a Senior Consultant at SynerTrade, a global provider of eProcurement software solutions, from 2003 to 2007. Sonja began their professional journey as a Student at Quelle GmbH, a large mail order company, where they gained experience in different areas of the organization during their dual study program.

Before entering the corporate world, Sonja worked as a Flight Attendant at Britannia Airways GmbH from 1999 to 2000.

Throughout their career, Sonja Moosburger has demonstrated a strong commitment to driving digital transformation and innovation in the retail industry. Sonja has been actively involved in industry associations and startup ecosystems, further enhancing their expertise and network in the field.

Sonja Moosburger attended Berufsakademie Ravensburg and Esbjerg Business Academy from 2000 to 2003. Sonja earned a Diplom Betriebswirtin (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies.
