Justin DeMaris

Justin DeMaris has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and positions. Justin is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Organic, a role they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as the CTO and Co-Founder of Organic from January 2021 to December 2022.

Before their role at Organic, Justin worked as the CTO at The Drive from July 2019 to December 2020. Justin then joined Urbint in 2017 as the VP of Engineering, where they were responsible for growing the engineering team, handling security audits, and managing security policies. Justin also worked at Constructive Media LLC as the VP of Engineering in 2016, where they implemented strategies to reduce expenses and improve website availability.

In 2014, Justin co-founded Synced Health and served as the Lead Software Engineer. The company was later acquired by NOMi, where Justin continued to work as the Lead of the Mobile Team and Lead of Data Infrastructure Team. Justin implemented an ingestion system and handled data integration from retail locations worldwide.

Before NOMi, Justin worked at Salesforce as a Lead Software Engineer from 2011 to 2014, where they organized social media integration and tackled performance and scaling issues for ConversationBuddy. Justin also worked at Yellow Hammer Media Group as a Full Stack Engineer, Architect, and Systems Engineer from 2010 to 2012, building an ad management platform.

Prior to that, in 2009, Justin developed the Matchmaker Cafe platform and iOS application, one of the earliest Facebook dating applications. Justin also worked at the University of Connecticut from 2004 to 2011 as a Full Stack Engineer and Security Analyst.
