Tamas Karches, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of water science. Tamas currently serves as the Department Head of Hydraulic Structures and Associate Professor at the National University of Public Service, Faculty of Water Science since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Organica Water as a Process Engineer from 2013 to 2015, a Process and Hydraulics Engineer in 2016, and currently holds a role as a Consultant since 2017. From 2017 to June 2019, they held the positions of Associate Professor (Docent) and Division Manager of Water Supply and Sewerage at the National University of Public Service, Faculty of Water Science. Tamas also worked as an Associate Professor (Docent) at Eötvös József College from 2015 to 2017. Tamas started their career in 2008 as a PhD Student/Candidate, Lecturer, and had environmental consulting activities at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Dep. of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering until March 2013.
Tamas Karches, Ph.D. obtained a Master's Degree from Szent István Egyetem in 2013. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's Degree from Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Karches also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, which they received in 2011. Continuing their education, they obtained a Teacher of Engineering - MA from Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2007 to 2009. Lastly, in the earlier years of their education, Dr. Karches completed their MSc in Environmental Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics between 2003 and 2008.
