Robert Kristovich currently serves as the Director of the DTRA Joint Science and Technology Office at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, leading a team of 200 professionals focused on addressing chemical and biological threats. In addition, Robert is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Previous experience includes roles as Chief of the Threat Agent Sciences Division and Chief of the Molecular Toxicology Branch at the US Army DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center, as well as a Senior Advisor at the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense. Robert also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at SAIC. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Fairmont State University.
