Director Of Facilities at Organogenesis

Daniel Peterson has a varied work experience starting from 2014. Daniel worked for Organogenesis twice, first as a Senior Facilities Manager from April 2021 to June 2023 and then as a Director of Facilities from May 2023 (ongoing). Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at Organogenesis from August 2019 to January 2021. Daniel also worked at Takeda as a Senior Maintenance Technician from January 2019 to August 2019, and at Shire as a Senior Maintenance Mechanic from September 2017 to December 2018. Daniel's career began at Crowley as a 3rd Assistant Engineer, where they served as a plant operator and maintenance technician responsible for electrical generation, generator maintenance, and various other maintenance tasks. Daniel worked at Crowley from October 2015 to June 2017. Before that, they briefly worked at Maersk Line, Limited as a 3rd Assistant Engineer from January 2014 to May 2014.

Daniel Peterson completed their Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering at Massachusetts Maritime Academy from 2009 to 2013. Daniel then pursued a Master's degree in Facilities Management with a focus on Engineering at the same institution from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including LEED Green Associate from the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter in January 2019, Wastewater 2I from the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) in August 2018, Engineer In Training from NCEES in June 2013, and National 2nd Assistant Engineer Steam/Motor/GT from the U.S. Coast Guard in June 2013.
