Jizeng Qiao

QC Scientist at Organogenesis

Jizeng Qiao has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as an Instructor at Harvard University. Jizeng then joined Intercytex Ltd as a Senior/Lead Research Scientist from 2001 to 2009, where they developed assays for hair follicle development and investigated various factors affecting hair follicle regeneration. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Visiting Scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, where they derived and banked embryonic stem and fibroblast cell lines. Since 2010, Jizeng Qiao has been working at Organogenesis as a QC Scientist and Research Scientist, specializing in wound healing. In this role, they have developed preclinical animal models, isolated primary cells, and established cell banks for tissue engineered cellular products.

Jizeng Qiao holds a Medical Doctor degree from the Capital University of Medical Sciences. Following this, they pursued a PhD at Cornell University. Currently, their education history includes their position as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School.
