John Moran

John Moran has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. John is currently working at Organon as an Associate Principal Scientist/Associate Director Global Regulatory Affairs CMC since June 2021. Prior to that, they were appointed as an Associate Principal Scientist Regulatory Affairs CMC for Organon & Co. at Merck from February 2021 to June 2021. John also held the positions of Associate Principal Scientist Regulatory Affairs CMC and Senior Scientist Regulatory Affairs CMC at Merck from July 2020 to February 2021 and from February 2018 to July 2020, respectively.

Before joining Merck, John worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist II from March 2015 to February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for various regulatory activities including submissions, assessments, and database maintenance.

Prior to Teva Pharmaceuticals, John worked as a Quality Assurance Associate - Chemist 1 at McNeil Consumer Healthcare via Integrated Resources from June 2014 to December 2014. Their responsibilities included visual inspections and sampling of manufacturing equipment.

John also has experience at Merck as a Scientist from November 2004 to December 2013. John conducted toxicology studies, audited data and laboratory procedures, and implemented a new computer system for non-clinical toxicology.

Additionally, John has worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Coriell Institute for Medical Research in 2004 and as a Team Lead at Target in 2003.

John Moran, B.S., M.S., completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology at Ramapo College of New Jersey from 2000 to 2004. John further pursued their education at Temple University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, John also acquired additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. John obtained the Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) certification from AALAS in December 2009 and the Drug Development Certificate from Temple University in 2010. More recently, in September 2021, they completed a course on "The Five Thieves of Happiness (getAbstract Summary)" through LinkedIn.
