Thomas Otten

Thomas Otten is an experienced professional in the biochemistry and biotechnology field, currently serving as the Operational Manager for Sterile Compounding at Organon since August 2022. Previously, Thomas held various roles at Pfizer from October 2018 to July 2022, including Team Leader in Lab Operations and QA Project Engineer for Complaints. Thomas completed a Master Thesis at The University of Göttingen and an internship at the University of Antwerp's Laboratory of Cell Biology and Histology, focusing on systemic immune alterations. Earlier experience includes a student job at Delhaize Belgium and a Bachelor Thesis at VIB that dealt with optimizing a diagnostic epilepsy gene panel. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology: Molecular and Cellular Gene Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, both from the University of Antwerp, as well as an ASO in Sciences and Mathematics from Regina Pacis Hove.
