Efrat Tal

Efrat Tal has a variety of work experience in the field of research and development. Efrat is currently serving as the Head of Technology Transfer at Orgenesis Inc., where they lead the technology transfer process for production and analytical methods. Efrat is responsible for coordinating teams from development and production sites and ensuring efficient processes.

Prior to their current role, Efrat worked as a Project Manager and Team Leader at Orgenesis Inc., overseeing cell therapy manufacturing processes and coordinating various departments involved in projects. Efrat also managed development processes, set project goals, and analyzed results.

Before joining Orgenesis Inc., Efrat worked at Orgenesis Biotech Israel Ltd as a Senior Scientist, where they led and designed research projects related to cell therapy manufacturing. Efrat also contributed to the development of novel methods and wrote reports and protocols.

Efrat's earlier experience includes working as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they completed their PhD and also served as a course leader and lecturer. Efrat gained research experience through internships at Erasmus University Rotterdam and The Jackson Laboratory. Additionally, they worked as a Research Project Assistant at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute.

Efrat Tal pursued their education by attending Tel-Hai College from 2008 to 2011, where they attained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology. Subsequently, they enrolled at Tel Aviv University from 2011 to 2018, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the Department of Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, specifically within the Sackler School of Medicine.
