Shimon Hassin

Shimon Hassin has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Shimon is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Orgenesis Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Kadimastem from 2010 to 2012. Before that, they held the position of Head of Process Development at InSight Biopharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2009.

Shimon Hassin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biotechnology from the University of Maryland. Additionally, they completed a Post Doctorate at the University of Bergen (UiB). Prior to their doctoral studies, Shimon earned a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Biology from Tel Aviv University. Shimon also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Biology from the same institution.
