Emilia Wietrak

Emilia Wietrak has a diverse work experience starting in 2014 as an Intern in the HR Department at Consorci de Salut i Social de Catalunya. During their time there, they designed general procedures for recruitment, selection, and personnel training.

In 2015, Emilia joined K-LAGAN as an HR Consultant and Recruiter. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and attracting top IT and Engineering talent, as well as developing their professional careers. Emilia conducted recruitment activities, such as analyzing job positions, identifying candidates using various strategies, and leading interviews and tests.

After their time at K-LAGAN, Emilia worked as a Writer at ScienceForWork from 2016 to 2019. Then, in 2017, they joined the University of Barcelona as a Researcher and Lecturer until 2020. During this period, they contributed to research projects and delivered lectures.

Emilia's experience in academia continued with their role as an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona from 2020 to 2021. Emilia then joined Orgnostic in 2021 as a Content Writer.

In 2022, Emilia started working at Esade as a Senior Consultant. Emilia'sresponsibilities in this role include designing and implementing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs, as well as defining faculty development paths and designing training plans. Emilia also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Esade.

Additionally, Emilia has been self-employed as a Freelance professional since 2020.

Emilia Wietrak has a diverse education history. Emilia began their academic journey in 2005 at Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie, where they pursued a Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical and Personality) until 2010. In 2009, Emilia also spent time studying Psychology at Universidad de Granada.

In 2013, Emilia obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Catalan (C1) from Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística. In the same year, they enrolled in Universitat de Barcelona and completed a Master's degree in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology from 2013 to 2015.

Continuing their academic journey, Emilia pursued a visiting researcher program at École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) in 2019, specializing in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Emilia also achieved a Master's Degree in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, although the end year for this degree is not specified.

Emilia's educational achievements culminated in 2022 when they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social and Organizational Psychology from Universitat de Barcelona. Furthermore, in September 2022, they completed the course "The Art & Craft of Designing & Facilitating Learning Spaces" from KAOSPILOT and the "People Analytics Masterclass Series" from Orgnostic.
