Anneleen Daemen

Anneleen Daemen is an experienced leader in translational medicine and bioinformatics with a strong background in oncology. At ORIC Pharmaceuticals Inc., Anneleen held the roles of Executive Director and Senior Director, leading translational efforts and biomarker development for multiple drug candidates while serving on the Research Leadership Team. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Genentech as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Group Leader, focusing on breast and lung cancer, supervising a team, and overseeing clinical trial data for biomarker discovery. Academic appointments include visiting professor at K.U. Leuven and postdoctoral fellow positions at UCSF and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where Anneleen focused on predictive modeling and data analysis in cancer research. Anneleen holds a degree in Electrical Engineering specialized in Biomedical Techniques from KU Leuven and a Bachelor of Music in Piano from Lemmensinstituut Leuven.
