Archana Akalkotkar

Archana Akalkotkar is an accomplished professional in the field of Analytical Sciences, currently serving as Associate Director at ORIC Pharmaceuticals Inc. since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Manager of Analytical Chemistry CMC at BioDuro-Sundia, and as a Sr. Scientist in Analytical Chemistry, where Archana developed and optimized methods for various assays and performed analytical testing supporting GMP campaigns. At Charles River Laboratories, Archana acted as a Research Scientist II, leading nonclinical research studies and authoring over 400 reports and studies. Prior positions also include a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Louisville, a Scientist at Epitogenesis, and various trainee roles, focusing on formulation optimization and the development of pharmaceutical systems. Archana holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
