Carlos Garcia de Alba Rios

Carlos Garcia de Alba Rios is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental governance with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Manager of SHES Governance and Assurance at Orica since November 2020, Carlos previously held the position of EHS Submanager at AHMSA (Altos Hornos de Mexico S.A.B.) from January 2012 to November 2020. Carlos contributed to various industry initiatives as a member of the Process Safety, Working at Heights, and Leading Indicators task force groups at the World Steel Association from 2012 to 2016. Academically, Carlos holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Tecnologica de la Region Centro de Coahuila and a Licenciatura en Administracion de Empresas from Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila. Education also includes advanced studies at ICAMI-Centro de Formacion y Perefeccionamiento Directivo.
