Ashok Kumar Singh

Ashok Kumar Singh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the electrical and industrial sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head at Orient Electric since June 2015, Ashok holds P&L responsibility for the Switches, Wiring Accessories, and Switchgear Business, leading various functions including Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Sales & Marketing, Communication, Purchase, HR, and Finance. Prior to this role, Ashok was Vice President at Havells India Ltd, managing the Switchgear and Capacitor Business, and Regional Director of India Sales at GE, overseeing sales operations for Industrial Solutions. Ashok’s earlier career includes significant positions at BCH Electric Limited as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Lapp India Pvt. Ltd. as Executive General Manager of Sales & Marketing. Ashok began professional endeavors at Crompton Greaves as Marketing Manager and has a strong academic background with an M. Tech in Power System Apparatus from IIT Bombay and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from NIT Calicut.
