Priyan Jayakody

Priyan Jayakody has extensive work experience in the field of auditing and finance. Priyan started their career at EY in 2005 as an Audit Supervisor and worked there until 2009. Priyan then joined Screenline Embalishers (Pvt) Ltd as an Accountant from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Central Finance PLC as an Internal Auditor and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Softlogic Finance PLC as the Chief Manager - Internal Audit. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Internal Auditor at Orient Finance PLC, which they started in 2019.

Priyan Jayakody's education history starts with attending De Mazenod College from 1987 to 2000. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 2002 to 2007. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Following their undergraduate studies, Priyan Jayakody joined The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka in 2007 and became an Associate Member of the Certified Management Accountant of Sri Lanka (ACMA). In 2010, they also joined The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and obtained the title of Associate Member of Chartered Accountant. Additionally, Priyan Jayakody holds additional certifications including an MBA (PIM), B.Com(sp) USJ, ACA, ACMA, although the institution and specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
