Muhammad Shafiq

Muhammad Shafiq is a seasoned electrical technician with extensive experience in the petroleum and power generation sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Technician at Orient Petroleum Inc. since June 2023, Muhammad supports planning and scheduling of major shutdown activities while strictly adhering to the Permit to Work (PTW) system. Previous roles include Electrical Maintenance Specialist at Shell-PDO from December 2013 to December 2022, and Senior Electrical Technician positions at Dubai Petroleum Establishment and OMV Exploration & Production. Muhammad also held the position of E&I Team Leader at Petronas Carigali Pakistan Ltd and began a technical career as an Electrical Technician in various companies, starting in 1996. Muhammad holds a Diploma of Associate Engineer in Electrical from Govt. College of Technology, which was completed from 1992 to 1995.
