Lorena Machado has extensive work experience in various companies and positions. Lorena started as a Supply Chain Intern at Lojas Le biscuit S/A in 2015 and later worked as a Business Planning Analyst. In 2016, they worked as a Trainee at The Kraft Heinz Company, and then progressed to become an S&OP Coordinator for Latin America and later an S&OP Manager for Latin America. In 2020, they joined Amazon as a Catalog Manager - Team Lead and moved to The Kraft Heinz Company to work as a National Go to Market Manager. Currently, they work as a Partner at Sperss Capital and will be joining Origem as Chief of Staff in 2023.

Lorena Machado pursued the Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Engenharia de Produção from the Universidade Federal da Bahia from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, they completed a short course in Manufacturing and Production Engineering at the University of Derby in 2013-2014 and obtained the Diploma of Higher Education in Manufacturing and Production Engineering from the same institution (year and month of attainment unknown).
