Jose Javier Fuentes

Jose Javier Fuentes has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Jose Javier began their career in 2000 as Regional Sales Director LATAM for Avaya, Inc. in the Service Providers Division. From 2006 to 2010, they were responsible for improving growth in sales and margin while revamping relationships across the region by selling to and through AT&T, BT, Orange (OBS) and Telefonica of Spain. In 2010, they became the USA MNC Global Account Manager for the Multinational Accounts Organization at Telefonica. In 2012, they moved to Verizon as the Sr Cslt-Prod Mgt/ Dev for the US-Southeast and LATAM regions. In 2016, they became the Data Center Market Manager for the same regions. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as Country Manager at Winncom Technologies, leading business development strategy, sales and operations in Mexico. In 2019, they joined Claro Enterprise Solutions as Global Accounts Director, committed to drive innovations and bring them to market through integrated communications and information technology services. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as Sales Director for SAP SMB Market, US-Latam at Origen Technologies, providing SAP Business Application S/4 Solution as a Service (SOLaaS) and Localization, Fiscal Compliance, and Global Trade Systems (GTS) applications for US SMB and multinational segments.

Jose Javier Fuentes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México between 1983 and 1987. Jose Javier also obtained the Blockchain and Bitcoin Fundamentals certification from the Blockchain Institute of Technology in August 2018.
