Alan Andreassen has extensive experience in operational and supervisory roles across various industries. Currently, Alan serves as a Control Panel Operator - Lead and previously held the position of BIOC Operator at Origin Energy since February 2013. Prior to that, Alan worked at Rio Tinto as a Mine Monitoring & Control Supervisor from 2008 to 2013. Alan's earlier career includes roles such as Auxiliary Fire Fighter with QFES - Training and Emergency Management, Manufacturing Operations at Nestlé, and Underground Driller at Mount Isa Mines. Alan began professional work with Queensland Rail in Freight Operations from 1983 to 1994, and earlier served as an Auxiliary Fire Fighter with QFES.
