Joel Fletcher

Joel Fletcher has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering and energy industries. Joel has held various roles including Principal Pipeline Engineer, Lead Materials Engineer, Metallurgist, NDT Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, and Class 1 Coded Welder. Joel has expertise in materials and metallurgy, welding, corrosion, integrity management, and failure investigations. Joel has been involved in pipeline and piping engineering design, development of material selection philosophies, technical specifications, fracture control, audits, and testing programs. Joel has also worked on projects for major companies such as Origin Energy, Worley, Doncasters Group, SGS, ALE Marine Ltd, and ECITB.

Joel Fletcher has a Master of Science - MS degree in Advanced Manufacturing Systems from Teesside University. Joel also holds a Higher National Diploma in Welding Engineering from the same university. In addition, they have a Postgraduate Diploma in International Welding Engineer IWE from the International Institute of Welding (IIW). Joel Fletcher has also obtained various certifications including APEC Engineer from APEC - Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, CEng (Chartered Materials Engineer) from the Engineering Council, CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) from Engineers Australia, Internal Auditor (ISO19011) from Lloyd's Register, International Professional Engineer IntPE(Aus) from Engineers Australia, International Welding Engineer (IWE) from the International Institute of Welding, NER (National Engineers Register) from Engineers Australia, and RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer Queensland) from The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland.
