Jonny Burns

Jonny Burns has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jonny is currently working as an Insights & Operations Lead at Origin Energy since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Octopus Electric Vehicles as a Growth Insights Manager from January 2022 to December 2022 and as an Operations Manager from October 2021 to December 2021. Jonny also worked at Octopus Investments as an Investments Operations Associate from February 2019 to September 2021 and at Octopus Labs as an Investment operations associate from February 2018 to February 2019.

In addition, Jonny has previous experience as an E-commerce Intern at Unilever, where they optimized brand presence on Amazon and delivered findings and recommendations to improve search ranking and product page quality. Jonny also created an internal educational animation explaining Amazon sales channels. Jonny also worked as a Sales Representative at The Warehouse Project during their time at University, where they managed sales, promotions, and operations for various events. Furthermore, Jonny had a summer internship at Unilever, where they worked in the global E-Commerce department and created content for implementing a DTC business model.

Jonny Burns attended HSDC Alton from 2011 to 2014, where they studied Information Technology. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology Management for Business at Alliance Manchester Business School.
