Paul Stainer

Paul Stainer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in power generation and operations management. Currently serving as Regional Manager of Gas & Renewables Asset Operations at Origin Energy since April 2014, Stainer oversees the 232MW Quarantine Power Station. Previous roles include Operations Manager at Marubeni Australia Power Services and Production Coordinator at Origin Energy, where significant achievements included facilitating transitions to operational readiness and managing risks during the 2011 Queensland floods. Stainer's career also features positions in cogeneration facilities and marine engineering within the Royal Australian Navy, complemented by a Bachelor of Business in Management and various relevant certifications in power systems and marine propulsion.
