Mark Webb

Mark Webb has extensive work experience in the field of ecology and environmental services. Mark is currently the Managing Director of the Ecology & Environment Division at Origin Enterprises Plc, where they oversee the company's recent acquisitions. Prior to this, Mark held various leadership positions at WSP in the UK, including Director and Head of Environmental Services, UK Head of Ecology, and Technical Director, Ecology (Midlands & the North). Mark also served as a Director at Peak Ecology Limited and held the position of External Examiner for the MSc Environmental Consultancy program at the University of Plymouth. Earlier in their career, Mark worked as an Associate Director at Penny Anderson Associates and as a Lecturer in Ecology at Staffordshire University.

Mark Webb completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Coventry University from the years 1985 to 1989. Mark then pursued a PhD in Ecology and conservation of the large copper butterfly Lycaena dispar in Britain and the Netherlands from Keele University, which they completed between 1991 and 1995.
