Ian Daniels is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon and Clinical Academic based in Devon, UK. With extensive experience in complex abdominal surgery, Ian is recognized nationally and internationally for expertise in rectal cancer surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Origin Sciences and a Consultant Surgeon at multiple institutions, Ian has also directed an active research group through the Exeter Health Services Research Unit. Ian graduated with an MB BCh in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1993.
