Christiaan Visser

Christiaan Visser has extensive experience in the wine industry, currently serving as Head of Production, Oenologist, and Exports at FirstCape Vineyards Pty Ltd since August 2018. Previous roles include Production Manager at Origin Wine and Winemaker positions at Villiera Wines, Wamakersvallei Winery, and Lutzville Vineyards. Early in the career, Christiaan worked as a Cellar Assistant at Lanzerac Wine Estate and held a sales, tasting, and marketing position at Van Rhyn Brandy. Christiaan holds a Higher National Diploma in Viticulture and Enology from Elsenburg Agricultural College and has academic credentials from Stellenbosch Business School and SAPS College. Education culminated in matriculation from Vredendal High School.
