Elizabeth Leah Ackermann is an experienced quality assurance professional with a robust background in the wine and food industries. Currently serving as Quality Assurance Manager at Origin Wine since April 2021, Elizabeth has previously held various roles at Distell, including Supplier Development Consultant and Quality Assurance Manager, where responsibilities included managing laboratory functions and implementing quality control programs compliant with ISO and SANS standards. Earlier experience includes positions as a Quality Coordinator at Enterprise, where auditing and quality compliance were primary functions, and laboratory analyst roles at both Stellenbosch Farmers Winery and Distillers Corporation. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from UNISA and a Higher National Diploma in Food Science from the University of Pretoria.
