Lin Chen

Lin Chen's work experience begins in 2015 as a Customer Assistant Intern at Everbright Securities Co. In 2016, they worked as an Intern at Huizhou Blueway Electonic Co., Ltd. Lin then served as the Secretary for the Chinese Student Association at UMCP from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as an Automation Framework Intern at Hughes.

In 2019, Lin was a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, where they designed and developed a real-time video player and editor. They also generated video thumbnails in real-time and synchronized video playing and thumbnail scrolling. Later in 2019, Lin became an Associate Software Engineer at EAB.

In 2020, they worked on their Personal Website, where they built a custom lit-element, utilized Gulp toolkit and Rollup for the build process, implemented SCSS for the CSS stylesheet, and managed packages using NPM.

Currently, Lin is a Lead Software Engineer at Origin AI, beginning in 2021. Prior to this role, they were a Software Engineer & Product Manager at the same company from 2021 to 2022.

Lin Chen received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering & Family Science from the University of Maryland, which spanned from 2015 to 2019. In July 2019, they also obtained an additional certification as an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
